Alisha Dumeer, the co-owner of a Boston bar, pleaded guilty to an accessory charge for helping a bouncer avoid authorities after the bouncer allegedly killed a Marine veteran.
Dumeer was sentenced to three years of probation with the first six months on house arrest and ordered to perform 100 hours of community service each year.
The Marine veteran, Daniel Martinez, was stabbed to death outside the Sons of Boston bar after an altercation with the bouncer, who has been charged with murder. [ more ]
